Bio
I'm a multidisciplinary designer specializing in creative direction, UI/UX design, product strategy, and data-based initiatives. I'm both a principal designer and someone who can lead a team; I work hard to maintain my craft. I believe that effective design leaders should be actively connected to the work through hands-on involvement. My love for aesthetics, an intuitive user experience, and achieving challenging business goals underpins all of my work.
As Director of Design at TM, I led projects for the Department of Defense, represented design at the United Nations, and implemented COVID-19 design solutions for the White House.
I'm ready for a new role that combines design and product leadership with IC potential.

Work History

“I've worked with [Tyler] closely for several years, and I can say without hesitation that he is one of the hardest working designers I've had the pleasure of collaborating with. Tyler has exceptional design skills, both UX and UI. He is mission-oriented and cares deeply about making an impact in the world through design. He can think strategically, but gets into the nuances of the smallest design details and executes. At TM, Tyler contributed to the culture and team camaraderie. He has a rare combination of emotional intelligence and creative intelligence. Tyler is a unique talent, and I recommend him highly to any organization looking to build useful, usable, and beautiful products.”

Personal Projects

Sometimes I create things in my spare time to challenge myself and give back to the design community. I’ve started a font foundry, shared 3D artwork, designed my own typefaces, and I actively share an ongoing stream of thoughts and images on Are.na.
